Ultra Start Remote Starter
Bought a 2003 EB, and it came with a remote starter that doesn't work. By snooping around under the dash I found the main unit. Says Ultra Start 1355a. I then found another black box, and upon opening it, I found a key wrapped in some wire. It is a ford key, but not cut for my truck. I am assuming that this hidden key somehow over rides the "chip key", by always having one in close proximity? Anyhoo, I'm afraid at some point all this crap is going to disable the truck. I have gone online and found the manual for the ultra start, so will start there.
I'm thinking I could probably get a non chip key cut and it will work in the ignition?
