Hood Mirrors
Anyone know where to find some under the hood mirrors for these 73-79's? Thanks,

your best bet would be to make card board templates and take them to a glass shop and have them transfered to mirrored plexi glass.

Thanks c.l.nye! I'll call around today and see what they can do. I wasn't sure if glass shops can make mirror products.

Just want to say thanks. I feel dumb not thinking about it sooner. I called around today, got some prices, made my cardboard templates, took it to the shop and I should have them by tomorrow! Wow...pretty cool. I'll be ready for my first show on July 11th.

Just finished installing my hood mirrors...........wow....what a job...it probably should have been a two man job, but oh well....I managed. They came out great. Right now, the mastic mirror adhesive is drying and I've taped it to the hood. Will remove the tape later on this evening, then will remove the protective film after and put some pictures on here. Just in time for my first official show this Sunday!

Wanted to thank you again c.l.nye for your post....I would probably not have mirrors on tonight without it....so thanks again. Love this forum!!!

Thanks man...I like your dent and bump sides.....they both have a great stance ! What's up with the GMC and is that other truck a Bronco?

lol I knew I would get flack for that!! Ya its a 2wd truck that I converted to 4wd with a 527 Chevy Big Block. The other truck is a 1978 International Scout 2...
