i drove a 05 i think king ranch f150 and it showed all the radio names and stuff on fm.

No special antenna needed, just a radio with RDS (Radio Data System)

Our 01 F250 has the factor 6 disc changer and has the RDS. Doesn't seem to work all that great but it does have it.

You want to look for one with rds. My 2000 f150 had it And would show the station and song

My '03 had the RDS, but the in-dash 6 CD changer was on the way out. I bought an Audiophile from an '06 Escape from eBay and a plug conversion pigtail and swapped them out. I have all the same stuff as before (6 CD changer, RDS, etc.) but the Audiophile has a higher output and can read MP3 data CDs too.
