Making good progress on my rear suspension. Got the passenger side all set for shackles and springs. Gonna go and work some more on cleaning up the drivers side frame for paint in a bit.
Got one side about done... Just need to make a junkyard run for some 3" wide leaf springs, and wait for my DIY4x USDR shackles to come in.
Sky-Manufacturing shackle flip
Stock replacement front leaf hangers from JeffsBroncoGraveyard. Kinda expensive, but its worth it, instead of tryin' to get them off at a junkyard.
looks good! stock height? why dident you build the fronts too?
Not even close to stock height. I'm hopin' for 7" of lift. I didn't build the rear. Bought it from sky-manufacturing. Also, the stock front is plenty strong.
did you use the knotted wire cup? I once tried to use the regular wire type cup (made for grinders tho) and it literally SPIT out the wires all over the place...worked well for cleaning off valves tho..

Yes, I'm using the knotted wire one. It does still spit out wires, but no where near as bad as the straight wire wheel I had did. So far, its worked out good for me.
