Hey everyone ive been on the forum for awile now reading and drooling over everyones nice trucks so i thought it was time to finally post my pics of my 48 build. little info about it, i purchased a 52 cab and frame the roof was smashed so we put on a 48 roof, fiberglass front end, 289 engine, driveshaft and rearend out of a 67 cougar , mustang gas tank , tci rear leaf kit , lots more hope you guys enjoy thanks.
Hey Cashy,
Your truck is looking nice. I pulled a 289 out of mine & replaced it with a 351W - I'm jealous - wish I had kept it like you did. Who's doing the painting? You have way too much space there - you need your wife to
fill your garage with her important stuff!
thanks for all the comments. its been alot of work. my father is actually doing all the paint work .we did all the work ourselves been almost a 4 year project so far. the keys are actually the ignition keys its been fired up and sounds great
I'm waiting for some one to ask about the gauge in the kick panel, perhaps make some witty remark but no one has. So what's up with the gauge in the kick panel?
Looks great so far. I got my 48 on the road a year ago, 3k miles on it so far. Great fun to drive, get lots of thumbs up. People like seeing this old stuff on the road. Be prepared to talk about it every time you park.
