I might be in the wrong section but I'll ask anyway. I have a 79 F-100 that needs a replacement roof. There's no rust just dents all over and not hail dents. In fact the metal is so sprung that on the highway with the window down if I pass a semi my roof will raise up then suck back down. You can push down on the roof and it will pop back up when you shut the door with the windows closed. Anyway you get the point. I have been searching for two years with no luck so if anyone has one or knows where I can get one please pass it on.
Sounds like you need more than a roof. Another truck perhaps or at least a complete replacement cab. To bad I never new last month, just took two left overs to the crusher. Cant have stuff sitting around here like that anymore, hurts dogooders eyes.
I dont know of anywhere that makes aftermarket roofs.. Like Jim said, the easiest thing to do would be to find another cab, unless you wanted to either fab your own roof or try to cut the roof off of another cab and put it on yours ..But I would just go for another cab
Youre right, I thought I read somewhere that '77 was the least year for the F100. Weird.
I sure haven't seen many 78 and up F100's though.
My 79 in my avatar is a F-100 ,two wheel drive . They are listed on titles and insurance as F-10 . Came with 6/cy and manual overdrive transmission . Now it has a 460 and c/6 trany.
