I agree with Wulff, I don't use anything but ATF in the crankcase, Type F specifically.
AFT is a high detergent oil, it also has good lubricity properties.
I have seen to many horror's of "Miracle juices" (oil additives) swelling seals!
Personally, I don't like 'Miracle Juices", However there are some Fuel system cleaners that do in fact clean out gum, varnish, carbon, etc... and can be beneficial, though I have also seen them make things worse by dislodging gunk and plugging up something further down stream.
There is nothing better than a proper rebuild done correctly!
i replaced my tank and sending unit a month ago so i don't think seafoam in the tank is gonna do much. i'm more concerned with cleaning the engine if that's what it'll do.
