I need to understand it better. What's it do? Is it just a hollow cube with bolted on covers at each end and a 1/4" dia outlet? A couple of sketches showing sections would be helpful. Not trying to be a PITA. If I don't get it, he won't. He's not into diesels much at all. I'd more than likely draw it up for him, give him a set of drawings and wait for a quote.
all he needs to do is get a pto cover and trace that bolt pattern out. ya, just a hollow tube ment to hold extra fluid and cool whats in there. just some fins cut into it and its a wrap.
Does each side have a PTO cover? Is there a gasket or RTV? Ballpark, what size are they?
I'll see if he'd be interested in going about this. He'd have to buy solid stock and machine out the middle. Lots of fall off, but might be able to be used on something else.
yes each side has it, at least on the zf it does. your t-19 should as well. the TC has one for sure. and not sure about the rtv or gasket. im sure gasket though. id say 3"x4"-5"

actually, it would be easier to get some rectangle tubing, thick wall and just bore out where the bolt holes are. it doesnt have to fully encase the bolts, just get some more beef there for the cover plate to not cave.
The PTO cover looks almost identical to a cover I have on my SM465 transmission.
I'm going to talk to him this weekend. I'll explain it to him and see if he's interested. He's been slammed with work and has put off my return line caps for work he gets paid for. I'm going to show him the link you posted so he can get a feel for a price range.
oreo, I finally spoke with my dad yesterday. He didn't even want to hear about other truck parts until he finished with my brass return line caps (hopefully this week). So I'm expecting to speak with him again and we'll see what he says. Sorry about the delay, but he's been really busy with prototype work for some hydrogen heating valving system in an experimental house in the middle of nowhere.
