Hey guys I was wondering if anybody could list all the engine sensors that give information to the pcm. Still trying to figure out my electrical problem with the truck. Already eliminated a bunch of them as being a problem but I know I am missing some. Thanks in advance
yea i have a couple times and ppl sugested that i get my pcm reflashed but i tried a couple of my buddies pcm's and it didnt make a difference. I even put mine in theirs and it worked fine. I just dnt understand what it could be. Here is the link to the post i put up describing my problem.https://www.ford-trucks.com/forums/9...help-guys.html Let me know if you have any idea what it could be or if you still think i should get a reflash.
Seven (7) PSI at WOT is way to low. Stock you should be getting at least 14 PSI. Sound to me like you have boost leaks. Try this if you have not already done so .. with the chip out unplug the three wire connection at the MAP sensor. Take it for a spin and see if it runs better. I know you tried another MAP sensor so it's good but want to see PCM determine (guess) boost by other sensors such as RPM etc and fuel different.
I will try that but with the chip the truck came with I can hit like low 20's for boost. I feel like if I had a leak it wouldn't be able to build that much boost.
I'm thinking your PCM needs a reflash. I think that was suggested before. I have no experience with the chip your using. But it kinda sounds like what Edge programmers sometimes do to the PCMs and they have to be reflashed. Give DP Tuner a call. Might be able to point you in the right direction. This is a guess on my part but thats what I would do.

Is the boost you are reading from a gauge tied into the MAP line or a scanner?

He already tried another PCM.
WAG, it's not the issue.
Well Jim I think you are incorrect on the PCM swap. He swapped another PCM form some other rig without checking the codes. Of his or the test PCM. I did not say the PCM is the issue. My suggestion was to call DP Tuner and get some advice. Otherwise I'm just guessing. Just like everybody else.

Reason: Not specific enough.

You may well be right on that one. I'm often wrong than right but just trying to help another member out with another simple test. I'll bow out on this thread and let the experts take over.

The boost reading was from the map sensor line hooked up to a gauge in my cab. Come on now guys I appreciate everyone's input. We are all here to try an help out I want any ideas or suggestions on what. Like i said I appreciate your advice.
It's not his fuel pressure, not his turbo, not a boost leak, not a PCM, not the chip, all my sensors were swapped into his and vice versa, when he takes out his diablo sport tuner the tRuck runs incorrectly and falls on it's face, with a different PCM and a known working chip it does the same thing with and with out the chip.
When his PCM and chip are in his truck, it runs just like a strong stock truck should, solid 22lbs of boost up top and great fuel pressure, 65lbs
