Running Rich?
I am complete newb here, so please bare with me. I just got this 85 bronco II a couple of months ago as a project vehicle. It was running really nice then and needed only body work. Since then I have fixed most of the body and repainted it and it was beginning to look nice. But now when it needs a little more help to turn on and it smells like gas, the smell is pretty powerful. I left it in the garage for a few days and now the garage smells like gas. I have no idea what it might be or where to start. This is a 85 bronco II, 6 cyl 4x4. Base trim automatic. Also, after starting it, it now needs constant gas from the pedal or it will die within a dew moments of starting. I hope it is something I maybe able to tackle myself. Any help will be greatly appreciated.
