1996 f150 codes
hey guys i went to autozone today and used there scanner on my truck and have two codes, im hoping someone can tell me how to fix.
401 egr flow insufficient
300 random/muliple cylinder misfire
my truck is a 1996 302 auto.

Check the rubber hoses between the DPFE and the EGR tube, make sure no leaks and no blockage and......well here this is easier, EGR Valve Problems? A Complete Guide On Diagnosing Automotive EGR Systems
Oh one thing to look for, might be an isolated incident?, wife's Explorer (used what looks like the same DPFE sensor) I found it had yellowish goo oozing from one of the hose nipples when investigating the same problem with it. It caused a blockage at that nipple and was a clear sign of a dead DPFE sensor!
