James H! Just Beautiful. This is what my truck will look like some day. Smoothies, but the rest will be exactly like yours. I love this hobby!

Thanks, although my wife is tired of my hobby. After the 4th 60's Ford she's tired of it. I haven't told her that I have my eye on a pretty little pantera....
I have a buddy that works at Rhinoliner, a spray in bed liner Co. here in S.D. The steps they use are 1) sand blast inside of bed 2) repair any rust hole bigger than 1/4" 3) spray in liner of your color choice. Average cost $800. It is usually about 1/4" thick so it'll hide a multitude of sins, small dents, rust pits, patches, and crappy welds. You won't have to worry about rust or weather and it dosen't get slippery when wet. I trashed a tailgate on a work truck because the bedliner was real slick and the parts I was hauling tended to slide back and forth at evey stoplight.
The rhino lining will cover holes up to 1/4 inch?
Sweet...
The bed I bought for my 66 has rust in it.. some 1/4 inch but theres prob 100 little holes in it.
The "body" part of it is brand new just rusted floor.
My other bed has crappy body, but good floor.
was gonna cut and move the floors. But if rhino lining will fix it, I'll do that.
So are you sure it'll cover those holes?
$800 for a spray in liner???!!! Maybe in California. I had an F-250 done last year with Line-x for $375. It was an '02, so of course didn't have any holes to repair .
Yea I was thinking 800 was a bit high.
I can get Rhino Liners here to do it for 300 tops.
I know a guy that works there now and I can prob get it even cheaper.
if the bed is nice go for the spray in. If its trashed like my 74 where the quarter inch pices are holding it togather get a drop inbut thtas my opinion
My bed is in new condition other than little bitty pin hole rust in the floor. The outside of it and the tailgate looks brand new.
Im definately going spray in.
I just want to make sure it will "fill" the holes
