Source for metric fasteners?

My latest project is hitting a little snag- Mercedes, in their infinite wisdom, used 12point M10x1.0 bolts to hold the flywheel to the crankshaft on their diesels. It's a 12mm head, so of course I didn't have a high quality 12point 12mm socket and wound up rounding several of these bolts. Now, I need to replace these and can't find anything that will work and not cost a fortune. All the M10x1.0 bolts I can find are a 17mm head, which is pushing it for fitting in the space, socket heads seem unavailable in that size, and Mercedes wants $7.80 EACH for these bolts which are necked and possibly a TTY anyways.
I've tried Fastenal, Mcmaster-Carr, and a few hours worth of online searching, but have come up empty. Does anyone have a source for this size thread in a socket head or a 14mm head?

What's the length?

MMCC has a Distribution Center in nearby Hawthorne where I can buy 'onesies' over the counter. Would grade 12.9 inhex be suitable?

Interesting, they never came up during my search. For the time being, I have ordered some coarse thread 10mm socket head screws, partially threaded in 70mm length, along with a 10x1.0 die. I'll cut them down, and thread them the way I need for this prototype. When I get to production, even just for my own, I'll order the proper ones. Thanks.

What length do you ultimately need Jared?
Flywheel bolts are stout for a reason. Be real careful modifying something for this application.

I need them to be 30mm long. The ones I am modifying will not be actually used in an operating engine, they are for setup so I can take a bunch of pics and have everything look right plus have the flywheel bolted up tight so I can square the input shaft to make sure it's all correctly aligned.
Fastenal does not have these on the shelf. I checked the Rexburg store, and Idaho Falls plus a few other places. Fastenal does have the hex head ones listed online, but they are a 17mm head which places the bolts a bit too close to get a socket on them.
Here's what they put in the car from the factory:

These appear to be a TTY, but I have not been able to get a straight answer on that aside from the FSM says not to reuse them. Pre-78, they used socket head bolts.
There are 12bolts holding the flywheel on, so strength shouldn't be an issue with 10.9 grade bolts.

Definitely look TTY.
Seen many similar bolts in German connecting rods.

Can you get them from Worldpac? Who, guessing by the copyright on the photo, is the company that makes them?

I'm using Linux, so no catalog for me. The company I priced them through is called Fastlane, they specialize in these cars, and typically have the best prices. They had the $7.80 price. I suppose I could call the MB dealer in Pocatello and get the real Mercedes price, but I have a feeling it's a hair more expensive. Put a three pointed star on anything and the price goes up-
