EDGE EVOLUTION
got a edge evo a week ago,,2001 ex asked in the ex fourm,,they sent me here,,,,,,? can i get your thoughts on it,,truck is straight piped,6637 mod,exhaust to be done when money permits,,any worries,good or bad reviews

This forum will point you to a custom tuner for all sorts of good reasons. That said, I have an Edge Evo, and a DP. I ran the Edge on the second seetting and run the DP at 80 Econ. The power levels are comperable. The DP definitely pulls through the lower end of the gears better. The mileage is the same. The gage functions and code reading are fine. The auto program swaps are great. If you plan to continue adding mods, you may well end up switching to a tuner at some point.
Of note, some of the edge prodcuts have a bad rep for abussing trannys, I have not heard that claim with the evo. Also note that the 2001 trany has known issues. Search this forum for details.
