maybe we should just change the name of the forum to the UN-GROWN UP ADULT TOYS ENABLER SOCIETY ........... it'd be a lot more accurate description of us who inhabit this portion of the inter-verse !!!!!!!!!!!!!
i have actually done that before ........... sleep in one of the many vehicles i seem to collect .......... the conversion van was the most comfy .. i only had too sleep in it for one night most of the time to make a point , but the back would kill me for a week !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
You guys crack me up. Mainly cuz I have the same problem.
I've added on to the garage twice, ran out of room to do so again, filled up a contractors storage yard with future projects (good ones, dammit) and now I've finally just about convinced the wifey that we need a place in the country--with acreage and a BIG out buildings.
The most recent episode was when I held my hand up to high at a farm auction. Now I gotta go find a new forum.
the fun wears off the mowing after a short period of time
well the deal isn't gonna happen on it , the f350 . guy is back and forth on it , and thinks it's worth a bazillion bucks otherwise . wants my 95 and 1500 if he does it . i don't think so ! prolly kept me outta the dog house for a bit . denver that tractor is cool , old oliver ? hades i wish i could land a good decent flathead v8 powered ford in my ultra cheap budget to sit in my yard . the nabe's think i've went around the bend anyway .........................
that's all right bobby . i told stu about it in case he knows someone looking , but i kinda accidentally stumbled onto a complete 49 studebaker 3/4 ton long bed pick 'em up . motor isn't locked up , all there , clear title , $1,200 . now i'm conspiring on that one if it doesn't get bought before i do it ......................
Kevin - I've not posted it yet on the Studebaker site, and will hold off if you are interested in it. But FYI, take a good look at the wheels before you jump. They went to hub piloted in '49, and a 3/4 ton probably has 6 lug x 7.25" widowmakers. You thought it was hard to find wheels for your F-4. If that's what it's got it would redefine "hard to find". Stu
go ahead and post it stu . by the time i get around to it it'll have sat another 10 years !! i got way too many things now to do honestly .............. but if things were too work out { may have the bird sold again , yet , } it'd sure look cool as the newest yard art don'cha think ? way i see it though the two oldest granddaughters have claimed the 53 and 52 , and i got three more grandkids too go find old rides for so ....................... and no this isn't it fella's just an online pic for you to envision it sitting in my yard . somehow i get the feeling it looks kinda like the old 49 f4 ...........Attachment 25390 oh and it would sit in the yard , as her shed and some of the grandkids toy's have occupied gramp's old truck driveway , so we'd just pick a prime spot in the grass ...... LOL !!!!!!!!!!!!!
