just as i have convinced myself i have far too many things / projects already , i found another ol' furd to go chasing after . can't say as i will get it but i'm gonna try too . may involve trading my 95 bird for it and sorry to all you late model guy's , but too me that's a no brainer , it'll be gone !!!!!!!!!!! this time it's a 58 or 59 f350 flatbed that runs and drives ................. sheezuz she's gonna kill me yet .....................................
WELL I DO HAVE ANOTHER FRAME , A 76 MUSTANG 2 , AN S10 DONOR FOR THE T5 , AND ........................................ YOU BETTER BE SURE !!!!!!! lol !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
You'd better go get it. She'll get over it. Oh sure, the house might be a bit frosty for a week or so but look on the bright side. Its summer time, a cool house is good...LOL. And just think of the peace and quiet you'll have (well, at least until she starts speaking to you again)
he keeps bringing stuff home, as do I but he more so. I figure that if he can get away with it without serious bodily injury so can I. About the time he posts that he broght this or that home and his wife pulled a knife on him, I will know that I had better stop. I dont need anything gettin chopped.
More power to ya brother! But you are going to miss that bird, dont kid yourself
You got to be real careful about cleaning out space. I made that mistake awhile back....almost went into convulsions. I got all shaky and dizzy almost like the DT's.
I had to rush right out and drag something home before I felt better.....LOL
i haven't swung the deal yet jason , and i haven't been able to really talk to the fella much . he want's to restore it but it has been sitting for about 4 months with no plates , and not driven . near as i can figure the economy and the loss of his job in the mines , and a lower paying job at a parts house has put him in the spot where he can't afford to keep it legal , afford to drive it nor play with it . yeap i'll miss the bird , but i like my old stuff a whole lot more . the wife don't know about it yet either !!!!!!!!! LOL !!!!!!!!!!!! she has seen it as it's on the main drag in one of the towns i visit on my mail runs , and her hometown as well . i'm hoping he's up to it as he needs a second car that's economical . but we all know how attached we all get to these old critters . bobby every time i clean something out of my garage it is depressing !!!!!! i know i'll find someone who wants it or i'll need it or ..... never fails . and like was stated i could've had a freaking museum if i had the space .... my unk needs to hurry up and clean his place out so i got a place . i wouldn't get rid of anything with 5 acres and a 50 x 80 building ................. that poor mustang 2 keeps swapping hands between me and my cousin . he wants it then dont , i wanted it for parts then got a wild hair about a v8 conversion , then the too many things now syndrome and .........................
You guys crack me up. Mainly cuz I have the same problem.
I've added on to the garage twice, ran out of room to do so again, filled up a contractors storage yard with future projects (good ones, dammit) and now I've finally just about convinced the wifey that we need a place in the country--with acreage and a BIG out buildings.
The most recent episode was when I held my hand up to high at a farm auction. Now I gotta go find a new forum.
maybe we should just change the name of the forum to the UN-GROWN UP ADULT TOYS ENABLER SOCIETY ........... it'd be a lot more accurate description of us who inhabit this portion of the inter-verse !!!!!!!!!!!!!
