ok heres the pic from before the 3 washings.. and the 2nd on is after.. wow not that much cleaner.. im gonna take them turbo pipes off the intercooler tomarrow and get in there and scrub some with simple green

Wow, the dirt from Alaskan roads is sure tenacious. That's some of the stickiest stuff I've seen.

- Turbo Pedestal o-rings
- EBPV actuator on the backside of the pedestal
- Fuel from the rear connection on the passenger's head

i suppose doing the turbo orings is a nightmare? so that explains why i thought it was a trans leak since the hold goes inside the bellhousing! and then it comes out the inspection pan.

You can see where two o ring go on the top. There are also 2 underneath. The rod that stick out in that pic is also a common leak.

My valley is loaded with oil, the hoses going in and out of the turbo are coated with oil, it is smoking (white/gray) but runs good and mechanic says it is most likely blower bearing wear. Replacement turbo (rebuilt) is needed most likely. what is the typical cost of this work??

well thinking about tackeling this when my orings come in, is there anything else i should do once i got it tore down that much any other common replace items or upgrades?

well waiting for the uppipes to go on sale! got all the other things in excepts new boots and up pipes! hope onsale soon!
heres some more pics of the oil again, its back! hehhehe washed her down again, after going thru 2 tanks of fuel its only 1 quart low.
real slow leak. hope it stays that way tell my parts go on sale and i get them.
