ok heres the pic from before the 3 washings.. and the 2nd on is after.. wow not that much cleaner.. im gonna take them turbo pipes off the intercooler tomarrow and get in there and scrub some with simple green
i suppose doing the turbo orings is a nightmare? so that explains why i thought it was a trans leak since the hold goes inside the bellhousing! and then it comes out the inspection pan.
My valley is loaded with oil, the hoses going in and out of the turbo are coated with oil, it is smoking (white/gray) but runs good and mechanic says it is most likely blower bearing wear. Replacement turbo (rebuilt) is needed most likely. what is the typical cost of this work??
well thinking about tackeling this when my orings come in, is there anything else i should do once i got it tore down that much any other common replace items or upgrades?
