Over the next year I plan to have the following (or something close to it) done to make my baby scoot. I can build a house from the ground up but don’t know diddly about working on a diesel engine so i will be having the work done rather than doing it myself - just an fyi.
Intake not needed. No HPOP upgrade, no oil cooler upgrade, no oil bypass, no intercooler upgrade, we don't have a DPF so that's not needed. Nope on the manifold upgrade either. No brake upgrade as well.

I'd just do what he says, he knows what hes talking about.
gentlemen, i appreciate the input - especially when it comes to the specifics (what you have installed). Like I said, I'm no wrench. Do any of you know of a shop in the Houston area that does this kind of work on a regular basis? I want to take my baby to a place that knows what it's doing. Also, looks like a may be doing a brake repair/upgrade sooner than i expected: I was driving on the highway last night when a good samaritan pulled up next to me to tell me my right rear brake was on fire... - not good. I pulled off the highway and while it was not on fire the rotor was glowing a bright red. Luckily, i was near my destination and made it over there without incident after letting it cool down a while. I was there for a few hours to let it cool down more and then decided to do a test drive. Lucky for me, it had released its grip (no longer slowed vehicle when I let off the gas) and i was able to make it home. if the rotor and caliper need to be replaced I figure i might as well take this opportunity to upgrade her stopping power. suggestions?
Todd at TRM does good work, and will install just about anything you want. He is located in pasadena right off of the beltway and spencer highway. He doesn't do any custom programming but is far priced and has a whole crew of guys who are very knowledgable of the 6.0. He also will install a EGR cooler bypass that he builds for very cheap.

Check out Powerstroke Majic... There located in Houston and have a website.
BTW... I got 126k miles on my original brake pads, (Outstanding) so when it was time for new brake pads, guess what I go to? Nearest Ford dealer for new Motorcraft brake pads!
