Yea. I just aint got to it yet lol. I am gonna use some black 5" lawn edgeing material. I figure It will be flexibale enough to wrap it arounf the sides and i can put a steel rod through the top loop to keep the shape.
LOL. This bumper does double duty as my plow mount. That bar is the lifting arm for the plow. I don't have the cyclinder in it yet. If you look at the bottom of the bumper you will see the place where the plow hooks up.
Thanks for the comps guys. I think it turned out pretty good. I have been taking a lot of flack at work on it tho. They say it looks to nice for my beast lol. One guy wit ha dodge said it would look better on his truck. I told him it would never carry it.
Curious as to why one would want a 270lb front bumper...

Right, but combine the weight of the mounts for an 8ft or 9ft plow with the weight of a nice and beefy offroad bumper and you may be surprised what it totals at. As a matter of fact I don't even wanna know what my own bumper weighs, IIRC there's something like 20-25ft length of 2"x2"x1/4" square steel tubing there, and that's without the spare wheel that hangs there or the factory bumper with a decent Westin brush guard that I started with...
