Hey guys i got problem to pick your brains with, got my 78 F-150 with turn signal issues, when i move the signal up or down it feels like it snaps in to that position like i keep breaking something repeatedly. Then to top it all off nothing happens to the blinkers...as in no lights blink, no blinkers make the blinking sounds, as i have just replaced them both with long life HD ones. Any ideas
lol ranger, I cant help you much except to offer sympathy and comiserate, I think all owners of old pickups get a case of the "blinker blues" eventually, lol, I got a kick out of that name for it
oh ok thanks, hey does anyone know where else i can get that TSS and there arent any pick and pull places in central michigan so thats outta the question

Well first you need to decide if you just need the cam or the entire switch. Typically, you'll have other lighting issues if your switch is bad. But those can be had from Jeff's Bronco Graveyard, Dennis Carpenter, and the like for around $80 plus shipping. If you just need the cam, go to you chain parts store of choice tell them what you need and exchange $15 for the part.
How do i tell if its just the cam or the entire switch?
Pull the steering wheel, inspect the cam. And like I said, typically, not always though, if your switch is going, you'll notice other lighting issues as well.
