Hello,
I just purchased an 2002 F150 Lariat 4X4 and the adjustable break/gas pedal is not working. I looked in the manual to see if it would be fixed by a fuse replacement, but there is no listing.
1) The fuse is under the same relay as the power mirrors.
2) If it is not electrical try the following: While pressing down on the break (or gas) slightly (while truck is running off battery only) try to readjust it.
If the two solutions above don't solve the problem the motor is most likely shot. (normally caused by adjusting the pedal while applying too mush pressure on it)
I just looked at the ford shop drawings and I actually can't tell what fuse relay is used, I looked on my 2003 Expedition but when I removed the mirror adjustment fuse I can move the pedal down but not up.
