Can the height of the brake and clutch pedal be adjusted at all? on my 95 F150 the clutch and brake pedal are HIGH, high enough that i cant just slip my foot from the gas to the break, I have to lift my entire leg to reach the brake, heel/toe driving is deffinetly not possible. Same with the clutch, requires full leg movement and not just depressing it with my foot.
I dont think that adjustment can be made . Im sure its annoying if you are tall . My wifes Co Ride , A Tauras , Has the adjustable pedals , Too bad they didnt include that option for all Ford vehicles yrs ago .
DrkPhanstm, I'm willing to bet that part of your problem is that the throttle cable stretched and the gas pedal is a lot lower than it used to be when new. Get under there and look at the pedal - now pull the gas pedal up as if all the slack were taken out of the cable... bet it would be a lot easier to drive if that's how the gas pedal really sat, huh? (it would probably require you to move your seat back a notch, and make it more even with the other two pedals).
