I'm not a fan of big events-- turn out seems to always be the same crowd we have at g2gs (give or take) with a few more scattered in--- allot of work too.
But having said that-- anyone have any ideas toward an event? What would you like to see?

Events are nice, but it is hard to make them when they are at a distance unless it is around some other event. We need to be more intentional about having stuff here on a regular basis. It wouldn't even need to be more formal that just getting together for a burger or something.

I would like support im spending $40-50 ish on flowers for our valued member Nitro 94's funeral. Lyn was a great guy who helped each of us out when he could, and never complained about it. Give me your thoughts.

Unfortunately I have only met Lynn at most 3 times. I haven't had a chance to get to really know him. However the impression I got about him while I did see him, was that he was a super nice guy. I do agree that this is a great place for the chapter fund. And Jack, I would contribute 10.00 to your flower arrangement if you chose to do one on your own.

I would support the use of chapter funds for this. I'd be game also to contribute to the fund if we run short of funds.

The contribution I posted was for the Chapter flowers.
May not seem possible but if we cut the CF in half and something else comes up then we are down to nothing and are not able to do anything else. I have always supported the club to send flowers for this type of thing but have also felt that the folks who knew the member should be given a chance to contribute.
Just my thoughts.
