not exactly cheap, but dang it makes nice crimps. You don't *need* to have something that fancy for auto use, and you can get a knockoff version of the amp/tyco pidg crimper for much less. Interchangeable dies lets you use the same tool with different dies for different terminals. I probably wouldn't have sprung for the fancy one if I were just doing automotive work, but I'm building an airplane as well and I figure it's worth the extra money to not have an electrical failure up there caused by using a cheap tool
The crimper on them standard wire strippers will suffice for your needs, just get a nice one.

Do you have a brand name or anything for me to go by, going to make the trip to HD today, I don't have more than $30 to spend on one though, my glowplugs should be here tomorrow I hope, also I think I might get a small spool of insulated wire because after I strip the GP harness I don't think there will be enough slack, so if anyone could tell me the ga. size wire that would help I think its 14ga? just guessing by looking at it
