7.3 Powerstroke Starting

I have a 2002 7.3 Powerstroke. I can go out and start it up and drive somewere like the store gas station work. If I shut the truck off it will not start again it has to sit for a while before it will start. It turns over sounds like it does its normal thing but it just wont fire up. It take use to take about 30 mins for the truck to start back up now its taking up to a couple hours for the truck to start back up. Any advice on whats wrong and what i gotta do to fix this pesky problem.

i would start with unplugging the icp and see what happens then move on to the ipr.

ICP IPR what exactly are those and were are they located.

Have you replaced your cam position sensor ? If not, they are cheap.. less than $30..

sorry im just getting back to you and didnt provide more infor in first post....crazy at work....we have visitors and meetings and pulling hair, etc...

Ford had a "recall" on the cam sensor a while back.. Call your local Ford dealer and check to see if you can get a cam sensor installed..(free)... Have your VIN # handy.. It maybe your problem..
There is also a "recall" on your cruise control system.. There has a been a lot of vehicles catching fire, even after parking with the engine off..
