49 F6 dump

I'm pretty sure it's a 239Ci 100hp. I'll load some engine pics later. 4 sp & hi/low rear end. Still has all the original gauges. It runs great.

I've had her e few months now. I've done about 20 loads of dirt short haul and 2x 200 mile round trips emty/full. Getting some momentum going before going up hills is a must! 60 mph flat out empty with the gate down.

I have really taken a liking to this old girl.

Putting her up for sale. Can't come up with the extra scratch to restore her. Any takers? Listed here: https://www.ford-trucks.com/forums/9...ump-truck.html

Wow, how sad! Neat Truck! From the looks of it, it doesn't need restoring! Why not do some hauling jobs for people and put that money into your truck fund??

Agreed, no need for restoring other than the mechanicals (brakes especially). Just use it!

I agree as well, don't worry about the cosmetics just keep up the mechanical end of it and enjoy it. When I go to truck shows its always the trucks like yours ....that show there age ... that I spend the most time looking at.

Thanks for the kind advice guys........ The other half (You know- The half that can withhold nookie.) sez we don't have the dough to keep her.

Nookie or truck? You guessed! I need only one brain cell to make that decision.......

An exaggeration...but within the bounds of historical possibility........

Gotta sell her. Any takers?

Nice old truck in work clothes. Maybe you should take the better half for a ride and show her why you need to keep the truck. You can allways find nookie but old working trucks

I agree, when I get mad at my trucks I can yell and cuss at them and call them any name I want but I then get the going we're happy.

My wife, man, I better not tell her she put too much salt in the mash potatoes or it's the cold shoulder for a day or two.

When I first got my trucks they took some work but once I got them going they just keep going, same kind of action from the start of our relationship, whenever I ask.

The wife, well...........................
