Nice truck I am still fond of my 3208 however 1975 and burns cleaner than a lot of newer trucks with less mileage

I was a bit curious on what all was involved on putting the Cummins into your truck. It be amazingly helpful to hear from someone who put the same engine I want in the same truck I have. I'll probably end up with an older model without the intercooler, but I imagine most the problems with putting a 5.9 in will be the same. I'm mainly looking out for any thing special I will have to do, I've search but didn't come across a topic with a build on it and I'm trying to get all my ducks in a row before I start so the truck doesn't sit for months because I didn't know something, lol. Thanks

    Hello Rusty Relic,

It was pretty easy to convince the kids to work on their cars....they had to if they wanted to drive.

I'll keep an eye out for the fire truck....where in MH are you?

    Hi rusty relic,

My name is Karl and I am the Northern California Chapter Leader for FTE. I just approved your membership into our chapter a few minutes ago and want to welcome you to our group.

    Welcome Thread -

To officially welcome you, I started a welcome thread (see link below) for you. Please take a few minutes introduce yourself to the chapter and tell us about your fantastic truck. I really like your '56 and the fact you are putting a cummins in it and restoring it is a great story.

    Once again, welcome aboard.
