automatic to manual
how hard would it be to put a 4speed granny gear in a 78 f150 with 351m, would i have to get new transfer case, wat trannys would work? what are all the parts i would need, thanks

I just did that to a 2wd and I was sure glad I had both vehicles sitting here.
Had to cut the center hump on the floorboard and put the other one in, easy enough to do. Had to change the steering column support so the clutch and brake pedals would work, the brake pedals have different hookups to the master cylinder so I had to do a little work on that to use the other brake pedal. The clutch linkage bolted right in though, and had to do a little driveshaft work also, but thats for 2wd, may not be so bad with 4wd..
