upgrade headlights
99 00 01 FORD F250 F350 SUPERDUTY 2007 HEADLIGHTS SET : eBay Motors (item 180517371992 end time Jun-16-10 16:56:01 PDT)
I have been wanting to upgrade my headlights and am thinking of these. Do you all see and problems with them, and what do you think they mean by the bolts and clips, I am assuming they mean the style like what usually holds the air dams on.
I also was considering these:
00-05 FORD EXCURSION/99-04 SUPERDUTY HEADLIGHTS+SIGNALS: eBay Motors (item 170490330167 end time Jun-22-10 19:27:37 PDT)
I have the old and yellow oem ones on there and just want to be able to see better and have the front end look a little better. I was planning on getting some new silverstar bulbs to help out as well. just wanted some ideas and experiences.

I just purchased a kit from Advance Auto for $20 to restore my headlights. Mine were very yellowed and cloudy and now they look 95% better. They don't quite look BRAND NEW, but the kit did a very good job. You probably could get them to look brand new if you spent more time. I did mine in < 2 hours. The kit was by 3M:

That said, the first option you propsed would be the way to go, IMO, as far as looks go. Those head lights really do look nice.

I went with the '02-style from what appears to be the same ebay vendor as the one you posted. Yeah, I know, cheap. But they're a decent improvement over my stock ones, which weren't all that faded, but I just wanted the upgraded look. I put amber bulbs in the turn signals for better visibility. Only time will tell how long they remain glossy and clear, but I figure a couple or so years from now I'll probably want to change them out for the '05 style anyway. For the money though, I'm pleased with them.
