Short story long... two hit & runs {(first)R side 1/4 behind wheel house & (second) L side door, rocker & step that two people did to me} and my own F.U. {jack knifed a utility trailer into my "good" 1/4 panel } on my (was perfect) truck in less than 6 months, 2 claims on insurance in less than 6 months, deductible to pay on both hits & pay for my own F.U. out of pocket as well. Now the $$ saved for mods is going to the body shop. OK I'm done crying so here's the thing...
Truck is 97 OBS ext cab w/ Deflectashield fiberglass running boards that run from back of ft wheelhouse to back of ext cab. Can't find on line (I kind of suck at on line shopping) does anyone know where to look/get stuff for OBS trucks? Seems like the search engines give you websites that don't carry stuff for our trucks.
I need a $ on new running boards, the body shop is tired of looking and says they will submitt a supplement if I (yes me) find the boards, pay for them and provide a reciept. I call B.S., unfortunatly the Ins Co agreed to the body shops proposal.
Thanks guys, but I need to find NEW FIBERGLASS running boards to replace the one's I have that were damaged in a hit & run. If I don't they won't pay for them, "will only replace with like kind and quality" per insurance regulations.
