i bought a 95 off of a friend of mine that will not start back up when it is hot, it has started every morning this week here in ohio without being plugged in, will run all day without a problem, as long as you don't shut it off of course, but if you shut it off it will not fire back up for 2 to 4 hrs, if you start it in the morning let it run 5 minutes then shut it off, it will restart, but once it gets warmed up at all and you shut it off it will not fire back up for a couple hours, any help would be great, thanks

Some things to check if you tach is not moving then your CPS could be the issue. If then the o rings could be going on your IPR. Next time check to see if the tach is moving and I would get the truck checked for any codes. Also the next time it happens you need to check your HPOP to ensure that there is enough fuel in it.
What color is the exaust smoke when cranking hot? http://www.fordtechservice.dealercon...iagnostics.pdf
Rocky
IPR injection pressure regulator. I think it controls oil pressure to the injectors which are activated by high pressure oil from the HPOP (high pressure oil pump). Did I get that right guys. Anyway click on the link MADVAN gave you in his post reply.
definitely the IPR o-rings. the IPR on the driver side of the HPOP(high pressure oil pump) which is right in front of the fuel filter bowl. so look in front of the fuel bowl and down on the driver side in the valley. there will be a 2 wire plug plugged into it. unplug it, take the tin nut off, slide the plug in portion off, then you can put your 1 1/8"? DEEP socket on there with a 1/2" drive ratchet to take the IPR out. You will probably need to take the fuel bowl out to get enough room to do it. i know some ppl have done it without taking out the fuel bowl, but its sooo much easier without the fuel bowl in there.
Yep, IPR orings. I just went through this last weekend. Mine had two o-rings that were shot in it. One o ring was missing about 1/3 of it and the other was cut. I fixed it in less than an hour with out taking out the fuel bowl, that's including fishing, for 20 minutes, for a o-ring i dropped into the valley.
is there a special o-ring kit i'm going to need. i have 2 boxes that have all the different sizes of o-rings in them, any help would be great, going to start the repair hopefully in a few hours, thanks
