I was in my '03 Ex today. It was well over 80 degrees outside. The in dash readout said it was 69. Then, at one point, it got as high as 71.
Does anyone know where the outside temperature sensor is so I can check it out?
How about where to find out what the reading should be on my ohm meter? And how to check it out? I would guess that different temperatures would read differently. Maybe it just needs a cleaning? A blast of air from a compressor?
The sensor is behind the grill, if I recall correctly on the drivers side. Mine had a wire about two inches long that corroded and was causing the same issues. It also affected the A/C on mine. once the wire was found and repaired, it worked again! Good luck.
