6.0 problem
ok this is kinda hard to explain, so i will try my best. when you drive my truck down the road at a constant speed for example like 50mph, and hold it there by foot or on cruise control the truck has a studder in it, it would feel as if it wasn't getting enough fuel. but thats the only time it does it..if you stomp it down you can't tell at all. i have replaced both fuel filters and was wondering if i should reset the fuel system or whatever? give me some ideas

quite common for shaky egr to cause that sensation. like you say only at steady speed, not while accelerating or coasting.could be a sticky/plugged valve, shot valve, or intake plugged up with gunk from egr. pull the valve with the engine warm. then with the valve out start the engine a put the pedal to the floor( in neutral) be expecting a pile of soot to blow everywhere. heard that from a top ford diesel mech. then clean or replace the valve itself as needed
