Harpoon Mod today

I dropped my tank today and it was a bit harder than I expected... next time I do anything with it I will pull the bed!!!
I broke the 2 clips for the quick connects and was able to find a couple at the local parts place... I hope they work as they are not identical to the originals. I took a couple of photos. Any input?

You would have been better off to have thrown those away, and put regular fuel rated hose from the tank to the pump, with a standard clamp.

The quick connect hoses work fine under pressure, but under vacuum... they're terrible. Unfortunately, before the pump they are under vacuum, so it's a typical spot for air to get sucked in.

X10 on that one. The quick connect fittings are the source of air in ya fuel systems
