Quick super cab question

Never had one or been in one but found one. It's pretty far so before I make a decision on it I need a bit of a disagreement settled between the wife and I. Is there much of a seat in the super cab? If so enough for a couple of 10-15 year old kids to ride comfortably for 5-6 hours? The wife is hung up on the ranger xcab because that's what her dad has, I know it is substantially larger but how much room is there really. Opinions and info please, thanks.

Crew Cab ...

The Super Cab is not very comfortable in the rear, the seat is awkward and fairly uncomfortable and it's short on leg room, they are also awkward to get into.

However many like it because it's in between and covers both side of the fence.

I have a Super and want a Crew, The only kids I have left to ride in the back are my multiple dogs, they hate it cause they don't have a window to poke their heads out of!

Of course, the ol'lady hates the look of the Crew ... But she don't matter, the dogs do!

-Enjoy

IIRC, some had jump seats and some had a fold down bench. My '92 had a bench seat that my sons outgrew by the time the oldest was 13. The jump seats let you sit sideways and allowed for marginally more legroom.

Thanks for the replies, I am told that there is/was a supercab rear seat riser kit that is suposed to help with comfort but it sounds to me like, well hate to admit it but the wife might be right on this one. If I could find a crew in my price range it would be problem solved.

Mine is bench, the back is straight, the bench is square, not very comfortable.

Jump seats are more comfortable for two in the back. Rear bench is great on long trips if only one sits back there, throw down some pillows and sleep through the drive. Ranger supercabs are even worse though, at least every one I've been in.

The wife is reflecting on her days stuffed in the back of her dads ranger, I am trying to convince her that the full size super is twice as roomy if not more than the ranger. After reading these responses I am looking for an 80-93 crew in my price range but its going to be a tall order. If I hear from the supercab guy I will go look for sure as it sounds sweet and only half my budget price wise.
