I dealt with them, and they were good.

Cept for sending my stuff in a hair care products box. haha.

The kit is obsolete. The Ford Dealers want to get rid of it, because it can no longer be returned to FoMoCo for credit.

Green Sales is in the business of selling obsolete parts.

Who will be cheaper? Call Green Sales, get their price, then try the dealers.

This same exact problem happened to me yesterday. Went to reinstall the lock ring and the tab snapped off. After seeing this thread, I decided to just go and take some pliers and put a new bend in it. Installed it, tested it by backing off and tightening the nut and it stops it from going in either direction.
Hopefully my wheel doesnt fall off, but I can't have my truck on stands until special parts arrive or make a switch in hubs. I was supposed to be at work today.... haha Oh well. Time to start the second wheel.

To set the record straight, Ed sent me the 1990/2002 car & truck microfiche slides cuz he no longer needed them.

Without them, I couldn't look up diddly-squat after 1989.

Ed, while I'm older than dirt...I didn't realize I was that much older than you.

I thought you were wearing diapers when I started in the biz.
