2005 Sport-Trac Conversion Project...
Thinking about chopping my 2005 Sport-Trac's Front Suspension to Straight-Axle, and converting it to 4WD... Need help in locating 4WD Trans as well as Front Axles for Project... Also, has any one done a V8 Engine swap...

Since a 2005 Sport Trac would still have pretty good resale in stock configuration, why not trade it in on a V8, 4WD Sport Trac that was built that way from the factory and you could easily get parts for when needed? I bet in the long run, after fabrication costs, parts costs, etc, you'd save money as well.
