quick question

after city driving today I opened the hood when I got home to do my routine babying the truck checkup lol, noticed that ontop of the degas bottle there was a little bit of coolant around it.... truck did not overheat, no smell of coolant, no oil in coolant it is old and I am changing it this weekend though, though there is no seal on the cap so it does not seem pressure can build in there? forgive my ignorance for comparing it to my PS again but when the degas bottle on that puked it could mean a few things, 1 simple fix as ford made a new pressure sealing cap but other than that all else was BAD, but what I am thinking is I stopped real fast and the coolant kind of splashed out of the degas bottle any thoughts?

Could also be the hose going into the bottle has a small crack or hole in it, as I recall it is formed with a pretty sharp bend in it, and rubber gets tired when it gets old.
