1991 Explorer engine swap question

I am looking at replacing the 4.0 engine in my Explorer with a used unit. What is the last model year this same engine was installed from the factory? I would like to get the newest possible that fits easily.

1991 Explorer engine swap question

Any engine from 91-94 will be a direct swap. After 94 i am not sure.
