Have a 2000 250SD and just added a used topper w/ the high brake light. Was wondering were to pick up the "brake only hot wire" don't want it to blink when I make a turn.
rbaker has you covered pretty well. On mine it right by the bumper, on the drivers side. It was a green wire, and said "center high mount stop lamp", or "CHMSL" on a little white piece of tape on the wire.
