I was on the computer playing with my brain and wondered why you dont see broncos use a floor shift for the automatic conversions. Something like an early mustang or the shorter straight up shifter from a Mustang II. The Bronco II floor shift might be possible also. It could be set back farther than the transfer case shifter to get around any clearance snags. Utilize the Bronco II floor shift assembly to use both stock shifters. Maybe even raised up in a fabricated box. Rig up a cable shift like a lot of the cars have been equipped, in case hard linkage is not feasible. What am I missing here. Its cold outside so I havent actually looked real close to see whats all in the way. Any takes?
