I wonder if you could get a good sized e z out and just take it out that way. Or, if you could find a 6 point socket that'd probably work too.
I'm trying to avoid the "smaller socket and a hammer" suggestion, but sometimes you gotta do what you gotta do. Not like you're re-using the bushing. ;-)
Thanks for the advice. I had a buddy over to help me with a couple of other things, and he managed to hold the ratchet and get it to break loose. So we have the sending unit in now.
