So, I was driving my '92 F150 down the road today and was startled by a rather large bang from the passenger-side front wheel well. Pulled over and discovered that the upper spring seat snapped on one side while bending and twisting everything else into all sorts of odd shapes.
The truck is certainly old. Rust? Absolutely. I figured it was only a matter of time before something let go. She runs like a top, though.
So, my question...is this terminal? Should I just drive her on down to the junkyard and call it a day? Or is it worth trying to fix?
