tire upgrade for 275/65r18
Just got my new 2010 f150 xlt 4wd and would like to get different tires the ones on it are too plain looking, wanting a aggresive tire and possibly larger tire to fill some space in wheel wells would like to know what larger sizes will fit on the stock 18 rims and not rub without installing any leveling kit, and if so is there any reprogramming that has to be done for larger tires. like the looks of the goodyear dura trac, currently have 275/65r18 goodyear wrangler sr-a

a 33" tire will fit perfectly. anything bigger though and you really need a leveling kit to prevent rubbing.
shoot for a 33x11x18 tire or it's metric equivalent. anything wider than a 11" and once again you risk rubbing.
if you wish to level her out, but on the cheap, you can remove the 4x4 block that sits on the rear axle. it's a 1 5/8" block. you'll need to purchase 2wd axle u-bolts. then simply remove and rebolt with new bolts. gives you a nice leveled look...especially if you stuff some 33" tires on the truck

And you have a lot more tires to choose from. Just understand these are typically E-Range tires as the 275/70-18 is one of the stock sizes Ford uses on the Super Duty trucks.

And yes, if you change to a different tire size, your odometer and speedometer will be inaccurate. Note that even with the correction, the speedometer will ALWAYS be 2-3 MPH fast and this cannot be corrected.
You can either take it to a dealer or buy a programmer and change the tire circumference/revolutions per mile yourself.
