Smile Engine Swap

Have a 93 f150 with stock 5.0. Looking @ swapping in a 5.0 HO engine out of an 86 Mustang GT with low miles.
Will the HO camshaft be compatible with the trucks Speed Density EFI?

I know that Speed Density doesn't like bigger camshafts.

Truck & HO engine are stock.

Appreciate any input.

That's '86HO isn't a lot more powerful than your truck motor, it has the worst heads Ford ever produced and was only rated at 200hp. But that said it will swap right into your truck no problem if you install the truck oil pickup and oil pan, intake, and exhaust manifolds. The HO cam will not cause a problem for the truck EFI system either, just make sure you route the plug wires for the HO firing order.

Conanski ......Have heard the stories about the 86 heads. My biggest concern was the cam/computer compatibility. Appreciate the reply.
