Pinion nut

Is there more than one size pinion nut for the front differential on a 2002 superduty F250 with the diesel? I ordered one from ford and it was to small. The parts guy thought it was packaged wrong, ordered a second time and it was still the wrong one. They only have one part number listed for the nut. Any info would be great. Keep on Fording.

2002 was the transition year between the D50 and D60 front ends, not sure if the pinion nut is different size or not.

Thanks for reply. Im running the Dana 60. Ford shows same nut for both. I'll keep digging ino it. Keep on Fording.

If they package one wrong, chances are high they package a bunch of them wrong. Maybe try to find a dealer with one in stock? Maybe even try Napa? Maybe try a local gear shop, where they are likely to keep some in their own stock?
