need a rear diff cover

need a rear diff cover
i just want a stock oem nothing fancy cover fo rmy truck, its rusted and starting to leak, i honestly have no idea if theres even a sufficient amount of oil in there now lol
dealer told me 56$, anything a little better out there?

Get an 08 diff cover. I think powerstrokeshop.com has them. Mine was 43 bucks shipped to my door looks great Ill post a pic.

Here it is: If you have to have teh stock one, Ithink I still have mine. I'll look when I get home and let you know. You need to replace teh bolts if you go this route with 1/4-20 thread at least 1.25 long, I believe 1.5" long will work too.

looks good man, ill keep that in mind, id probably spray paint mine black aswell.

The fin design is to help dissipate heat. Painting it black will slow that process down a little.
Personally, I'd paint it black too. The fins will help more than the stock cover, even if it was painted black, but just wanted to throw that info out there.

So a 2008 cover would fit my 1997 F-250?? FOR 43!?!?!

If you have a Sterling 10.5 axle, yes. You just need longer bolts.

look at the tag on rear diff or the door jamb...35,39 or c5,c9..or the dX if its a cab and chassis...mag hytec covers are cool but $$$$...

I was under the impression that the covers are the same for the 10.25 and the 10.5. I could be wrong on that one though.
