Air filter question

Air filter question
When do you guys replace your stock air filters? Do you do it on a set schedule or do you wait for the filter minder to tell you when to do it. I bought my truck last year and have not replaced my filter since the filter minder shows it is good still.

Same practice as Steve's, but the filter minder is pretty darn reliable (from talking to a number of Techs). Even so, it is cheap enough maintenance cost to do it every 2-3 years, just to be cautious.

I changed mine at 30 and 60k, just because, the filter minder had not even moved. Then I read on here that the majority just wait for the icon on the dash to light up, that is the basic litmus test.
Finally, read up in the tech folder before doing it, good write up in there. I wrangled with it and made it harder than it is, and there is definitely an easier way to do it.
