I like the OEM wheels because they are clear coated. I'm a fan of factory wheels. I don't care for aftermarket custom looking wheels that much.
Those aftermarket wheels that look similar to factory are bare polished aluminum and spot, stain, tarnish etc. I had some of them for a few years. I will never own an aftermarket set of wheels like that again.
Anyway, Your best bet is Ebay, Craigslist, salvage yard. You could try posting a wanted ad on craigs as well.
not to sound too dumb here, but can you have aftermarket wheels clear coated? I'm guessing its a quality powdercoat or something of that nature, not your $5.00 Clear Enamel from Rustoleum lol, but that might be an option too

Thats true, but I can't see spending all that money on new aftermarket wheels and then spending money to have them professionally clearcoated. Its a royal waste of cash.
FYI For anyone that wants to rattle can clear coat their wheels make sure to use the stuff that is made for wheels. I got some stuff made for Ford that is for doing this, when I refurbished the factory wheels on my 89 Mustang LX. I have also seen that Dupli Color, I think, makes something as well. It works 10 times better than regular clear.
The rattle can stuff with the Ford label on it came from one of the Mustang restoration parts places.
