Today, my e99 f350 made a very strange buzzing/clicking electrical noise under the dash I believe to be in the vicinity of the throttle position sensor while I was driving. I had just installed a new throttle pedal sensors last Friday and had driven the truck around several times before today. It started out making the noise somewhat rapidly and quickly increased the buzzing/clicking noise rate to a peak for at least 30 seconds then very gradually slowed down until it stopped. I know it sounds relay related, but this sound almost sounded as if there were electric sparks being thrown. It sounded strange.
Ever since then the truck has been running slightly rough...kind of how it ran before replacing the throttle pedal and sensor assembly. It hasn't happened since then. I have Autoenginuity and when I pulled the DTCs nothing showed up, but wen I went into Test Onboard System and used 'Diesel: Key On Engine Running Switch' test there were several codes:
P1536 (Parking Brake Switch Circuit)
P0220 (Throttle / Pedal Position Sensor / Switch B Circuit)
P1780 (Transmission Control Switch (O/D Cancel) Circuit Out Of Self Test Range
P0571 (Cruise Control / Brake Switch A Circuit)
P0703 (Torque Converter / Brake Switch B Circuit)
P0565 (Cruise Control On Signal)
P0566 (Cruise Control Off Signal)
P0567 (Cruise Control Resume Signal)
P0568 (Cruise Control Set Signal)
P0569 (Cruise Control Coast Signal)
A note regarding my cruise control is that the clock spring between the steering column and steering wheel is broken and has been for about 7 months. I'm unsure if this will have any effect on whether these cruise control codes were thrown or not.
One more thing I wanted to share regarding this is that when I go into the Live Data Meter tab in Autoenginuity and monitor the throttle position input, the volt value at idle up to about 1/4 or 1/3 throttle is .00 volts, from 1/4 or 1/3 throttle up to 3/4 throttle is .01 volts, and from 3/4 to full throttle reads .02 volts. Does this sound right?
Does anyone have any ideas what the issue is here? Any help is very much appreciated.
Thanks,
Drake

Part of the on board tests is a switch test. All those things that threw a code are buttons / pedals you were supposed to push in a certain order to check if they worked. If the computer didn't see you push the button / pedal, it threw the code.
Can you monitor TPS on the live data screen in AE to see if anything looks off?

I went through and tried to push the button/pedals in the order the codes appeared and the only ones that still showed up were the park brake code and all of the cruise control codes since my clock spring in the steering wheel is broken.
This still leaves me with the mysterious electrical noise I was hearing under the dash. Any ideas?
Sorry, in my last post, I meant you should just ignore all those codes. Did you try to monitor TPS % on AE to see if it showed any issues? Has the problem happened again? Could it be a relay in the fuse panel causing the chatter?
